Acclaimed jury has selected ZNC as the Jury Winner in the Building Products | Windows category

‍STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, Colo., – April 15, 2015 – The Architizer A+Award Jury has selected ZNC (Zola no Compromise) as the winner in the Building Products | Windows category. A global architecture award program, Architizer A+ Awards received entries from a 100 countries and represents the best of architecture and design worldwide. A highly esteemed jury of more than 300 illustrious jurors including CEOs and founders from companies and organizations such as Zappos, Design Within Reach and MoMA selected the juried winners.

Selection for recognition was based on excellence in the following criteria: form, function and innovation. Zola Windows will be honored alongside other winners at the A+Awards Gala on May 14th in New York City.

The award-winning ZNC was born out of Zola Window’s unwavering belief that a passive house window must not only boast outstanding thermal performance, but should also be precision crafted with responsibly harvested wood. The new ZNC window features a slim profile design, with concealed premium hinges, rail mounted rainscreen cladding and powder coated aluminum exterior for longevity.

ZNC is the first window on the market to be certified by both Passive House Institute and Passive House Institute U.S., and available with R-15 quad glazing. Suitable for all ultra high performance buildings, ZNC Fixed Windows can be as large as 8-feet wide and 10-feet high, and Tilt & Turn Windows as large as 5-feet wide by 9-feet high.
