Zola Receives Architectural Record Product Award for Third Consecutive Year!

The ultra-high performance ZNC window and door series just received the 2014 Record Product Award by Architectural Record. Zola was selected for this award by a jury of  architects, designers, and materials and products specifiers at leading American firms.  This is the third year in a row that Zola has received this Architectural Record award! The 2012 and 2013 awards focused on Zola’s tilt & turn windows and PanoramicView corner Lift Slide door.

“We’ve gotten amazing feedback on this window,” notes Zola founder and Swiss-trained architect Florian Speier. “Considering the outstanding performance and quality wood craftsmanship, the price point is extremely competitive.” This beautifully crafted window is certified by the Passive House Institute and Passive House Institute U.S. “A key mission of our company is pioneering innovative, high-performance windows. We are committed to making super energy efficient building practices, such as passive house, more attainable as we are confident that this is the direction the building industry is heading.”

Available with R-15 quad glazing, the ZNC (an acronym for Zola No Compromise) has a slim profile, an FSC-certified wood frame with a powder-coated aluminum exterior, and rail-mounted rainscreen cladding. Fixed windows range up to 8′ x 10′; Tilt & Turn, up to 5′ x 9′.
